About The Position
Avante Physician Services (APS), a facility-owned multispecialty group serving rehabilitation facilities across Florida, is seeking a physician in infectious disease, nephrology, or neurology. Specialists practice exclusively within Avante facilities, with an established patient population and no need to compete for referrals. The practice serves post-acute patients recovering in rehabilitation and skilled nursing settings, and Avante facilities are located near major hospital systems to support transitions of care and specialist referrals. APS provides operational support including billing optimization, compliance expertise, credentialing support, and practice development. Compensation may be structured as revenue share, salary, or a hybrid arrangement. The role is based in Orlando, Florida, with opportunities to practice across the statewide network. The position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible specialist in an applicable specialty.
- Complete background screening through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialty care to post-acute patients in Avante rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities.
- Develop and deliver specialty services within Avante's Florida facility network.
