Physician - Urology Hospitalist
About The Position

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE opportunity to work as a Urologic Hospitalist with a Monday - Thursday, 7am - 5pm schedule, requiring 188 annual base shifts. The position involves rotating holidays and is located at Tacoma General Hospital and Allenmore Hospital. The Urology Hospitalist will cover designated MultiCare Hospital campuses as outlined in the Practice Plan, providing inpatient and emergency urology medical and surgical services. This is an in-house/onsite position, serving as the primary point of contact for urgent/emergent urology needs.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible urologist
- WA state license
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- BLS for Healthcare providers – certification by AHA
Responsibilities
- Inpatient consults
- ED consults
- Rounding on patients where they are the attending or admitting Physician
- Urgent/emergent surgery and procedures
- Collaborate with clinic-based urologists to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up
