About The Position
The Adult Hospitalist Physician provides comprehensive, inpatient care for adult patients in a hospital setting. This role focuses on the management of acute and chronic medical conditions, coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current medical license in each state of practice.
- State Controlled Substance License (if required by State).
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; or Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada).
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Minnesota.
- BC/BE.
