Locum - Physician - Surgery - Vascular
About The Position
We are seeking a locum Vascular Surgeon to provide ongoing coverage for the next 6 months. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient duties, including rounding, performing endovascular and surgical procedures, clinic responsibilities, and after-hours call coverage. The position is hospital-based and requires a physician to manage an average daily patient load of 10-15 adults. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is EPIC. Credentialing can take approximately 3 months and requires an Ohio medical license, Ohio DEA, and Ohio Medicare enrollment. Temporary privileges are available.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Vascular Surgery
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- DEA Registration
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
- Fellowship Training in Vascular Surgery
- Clean background check with no malpractice or licensing issues
