About The Position

The West Virginia University School of Medicine - Eastern Division and the Department of Surgery are seeking a Plastic Surgeon. The successful candidate will practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia, and will be expected to provide excellent patient care while actively teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The West Virginia University Health System is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 18 hospitals and serving a multi-state region. Martinsburg, WV, offers a rural atmosphere with easy accessibility to Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for state medical license.
• Completed a surgical residency program.
• Fellowship in Plastic Surgery required.
• Board certified/eligible in Plastic Surgery.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of Plastic Surgery.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
