About The Position
Geisinger is seeking a board eligible/board certified Plastic Surgeon to join our established and growing team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV) in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to build a comprehensive plastic surgery practice within a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment supported by strong referral networks and system-wide resources.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
- Values a broad-based plastic surgery practice
- Has interest in program development, academic involvement, and multidisciplinary care
- Brings a commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Build a comprehensive plastic surgery practice within a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment.
- Participate in teaching, research, and program development through our integrated plastic surgery residency.
- Practice within a Level I trauma center.
- Perform general plastic surgery, cosmetic/aesthetic procedures, microsurgical and implant-based breast reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma, and cancer and trauma reconstruction.
