About The Position

Geisinger is seeking a board eligible/board certified Plastic Surgeon to join our established and growing team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV) in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to build a comprehensive plastic surgery practice within a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment supported by strong referral networks and system-wide resources.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible
• Values a broad-based plastic surgery practice
• Has interest in program development, academic involvement, and multidisciplinary care
• Brings a commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
• Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative and experienced plastic surgery team supported by advanced practitioners, specialty nurses, and dedicated staff
• Access to a robust reconstructive and cosmetic referral base, ensuring immediate practice growth
• Practice within a Level I trauma center
• Opportunities to participate in teaching, research, and program development through our integrated plastic surgery residency
• Work within a highly integrated system featuring EPIC electronic health record
• The position offers a broad and diverse case mix, including: General plastic surgery, Cosmetic/aesthetic procedures, Microsurgical and implant-based breast reconstruction, Maxillofacial trauma, Cancer and trauma reconstruction
