About The Position

Southcoast Health is seeking a Structural Heart Imager/Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their nationally recognized Heart & Vascular Center in Southeastern Massachusetts. This role is designed for a cardiologist with advanced echocardiography training and a keen interest in structural heart imaging and transcatheter therapies. The Heart & Vascular Center is a robust program with 26 Cardiologists, 24 Advanced Practice Providers, and a dedicated Structural Heart Imaging Team, emphasizing a comprehensive, team-based approach with strong mentorship and collaborative support. The successful candidate will engage in a high-volume, advanced structural heart program while maintaining a balanced practice and enjoying an exceptional quality of life.

Requirements

  • Advanced cardiac imaging training.
  • Expertise in procedural echocardiography.
  • Experience with Mitral valve imaging.
  • Experience with Tricuspid valve imaging.
  • Experience with Edge-to-edge repair procedures.
  • Experience with Transcatheter valve replacement therapies.
  • COCATS Level III training in Echocardiography.
  • Structural Heart procedural TEE experience.
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Completion of accredited residency and cardiology fellowship training.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology.
  • Active medical license and DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong clinical, communication, and patient-centered care skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a high-volume, advanced structural heart program.
  • Perform procedural echocardiography.
