About The Position

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified rheumatologist to join its team in Elk Grove, California. This turnkey opportunity offers the ability to build a practice quickly while collaborating with a team of rheumatologists and benefiting from the resources of a thriving multispecialty group and integrated health system. The clinic-based practice offers flexibility and autonomy, with the option to work four days per week and no inpatient call.

Sutter Medical Group is a community of more than 1,600 clinicians practicing across seven counties in Northern California, most within 50 miles of Sacramento. Its clinicians provide primary and specialty care and are also engaged in teaching, research, leadership, community outreach, and volunteer work. The position is based in Elk Grove, a family-oriented city with a small-town feel and urban amenities, including parks, restaurants, schools, and a historical district. The city has access to major freeways, Sacramento International Airport, rail lines, and ports, and is within driving distance of the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe.
