About The Position

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is hiring a board-eligible or board-certified rheumatologist to join its team in Elk Grove, California. This clinic-based role offers an opportunity to build a practice quickly, collaborate with other rheumatologists, and work with the resources of a thriving multispecialty group and integrated health system. The position has no inpatient call and offers practice flexibility and autonomy, including the option to work four days a week.

SMG is a multispecialty medical group with more than 1,600 clinicians across seven Northern California counties. Its clinicians also participate in teaching, research, leadership, community outreach, and volunteer work. SMG reports local and national recognition for excellence in patient care and experience.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in rheumatology.

Responsibilities

• Provide rheumatology care in a clinic-based practice.
• Collaborate with a team of rheumatologists.
• Build a practice within Sutter Medical Group.
