About The Position

ECU Health and ECU Health Physicians are seeking a Physician Recruiter to recruit physicians and advanced practice providers for hospitals and practices across eastern North Carolina. The recruiter communicates with employers and employees to ensure both parties’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner, develops candidate pipelines through relationships with schools, residency programs, and medical societies or associations, and supports candidates through screening and interview processes. The recruiter is expected to reside in one of ECU Health’s regional locations. This is a hybrid position, with 1–2 days per week on-site. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional after-hours work and career events. Travel is required for on-site interviews at ECU Health hospitals and clinics across eastern North Carolina and for national and regional recruitment events.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher.
At least two years of experience in healthcare-related recruitment or sales.
Reside in one of ECU Health’s regional locations.
Ability to travel for on-site interviews and recruitment events.

Responsibilities

Communicate efficiently with employers and employees to ensure their needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
Develop candidate pipelines through working relationships with schools, residency programs, and medical societies or associations.
Identify physicians seeking employment.
Pre-screen candidates.
Coordinate on-site interviews and conduct face-to-face interviews.
Collect feedback from interview panels.
Establish rapport with candidates.
Travel to ECU Health hospitals and clinics across eastern North Carolina for on-site interviews and attend national and regional recruitment events.
Work occasional after-hours and career events.
