About The Position

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join a successful, well-established group of physicians. This is a 100% Interventional Radiology position with strong APP support for clinic and inpatient consults. The department offers a wide range of services, including stroke and pulmonary thrombectomy, cryo, and microwave ablation. The position is located in Bismarck, North Dakota, and offers a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree.
Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Radiology residency program of at least 4 years duration.
Successful completion of a clinical fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology of at least 1-year duration accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency.
Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Must be able to demonstrate active involvement in at least 100 Interventional Radiology procedures in the last 24 months.
If not board certified at the time of application, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training unless waived by the governing Board.

Nice To Haves

Stroke thrombectomy experience preferred.
Proctoring is available for stroke thrombectomy.

Responsibilities

Perform history and physical examination.
Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment plans for patients of all ages.
Perform stroke and pulmonary thrombectomy, cryo, and microwave ablation.
