About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Pulmonary Medicine Physician to join their well-established team in Chicago’s western suburbs. This is an employed full-time position within a successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group that promotes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care. The role involves working with a diverse group of physicians, APNs, and a sleep psychologist, treating a wide spectrum of sleep disorders and pulmonary services. The position offers robust in-house interventional services, comprehensive lung cancer screening, advanced sleep and breathing disorder management, and dedicated ILD and transplant clinics. There are also multidisciplinary tumor board/ILD/dyspnea conferences. Outpatient clinics are located in Geneva, Winfield, and Naperville, IL, with inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. The role utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system.

Requirements

Board certified/board eligible in pulmonary medicine or pulmonary and sleep medicine

Responsibilities

Treat a wide spectrum of sleep disorders and pulmonary services (Peds, Neuro, Pulmonary, Interventional Pulmonary)
Provide care in outpatient clinics located in Geneva, Winfield and Naperville, IL
Conduct inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital/Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital
Participate in a multidisciplinary tumor board/ILD/dyspnea conferences
Engage in robust in-house interventional services
Manage comprehensive lung cancer screening
Oversee advanced sleep and breathing disorders management
Work within dedicated ILD and transplant clinics
