About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is actively seeking a Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join their growing team in Winfield, IL. This role involves practicing with a multidisciplinary team including Vitreo-retinal Surgeon, Cataract Surgeon/Glaucoma Specialist, Cornea Specialist, Oculoplastics Surgeon, General Ophthalmologist, and 2 Optometrists. The position offers hospital privileges at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital. It is an employed full-time position with Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group, utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system.
Requirements
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Ophthalmology
- BE/BC
Responsibilities
- Practice Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Provide care with a multidisciplinary team including Vitreo-retinal Surgeon, Cataract Surgeon/Glaucoma Specialist, Cornea Specialist, Oculoplastics Surgeon, General Ophthalmologist and 2 Optometrists
- Obtain hospital privileges at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital
- Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system
