About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Pediatric Ophthalmologist in El Paso, TX, covering clinical services from December 1, 2026, to January 1, 2027. The role involves providing care to newborns (0-1 year) with a case mix including ROP, NICU/Neonatal patients. The physician will perform ROP screenings in NICU settings across three hospital campuses, conduct comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology examinations, collaborate with NICU staff and neonatologists, document results, develop care plans, and provide non-surgical and surgical ophthalmology interventions as needed. The EMR system used is Cerner. Temporary hospital privileges are available.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Texas (TX) License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification

Responsibilities
