About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join their practice. This role is part of a joint partnership between Ochsner Medical Center – Northshore and Slidell Memorial Hospital, aiming to enhance healthcare services in the region. Ochsner Health is a large integrated healthcare system with a significant presence across multiple states, offering a wide range of medical specialties and services.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary & Critical Care
• Ability to manage a comprehensive range of chronic pulmonary conditions
• Familiarity with EBUS, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Spirometry Testing is a plus

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a 4-bed Sleep Lab and Pulmonary Rehab department
• Experience with growing diagnostic programs

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for outpatient clinics with the assistance of 3 APPs for follow-up appointments and patient overflow.
• Manage a robust pulmonary disease office practice and associated procedures.
• Utilize a wide referral base, both local and regional, to manage a comprehensive range of chronic pulmonary conditions.
• Work within a practice complemented by a 4-bed Sleep Lab and Pulmonary Rehab department.
• Contribute to growing diagnostic programs such as EBUS, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Spirometry Testing in primary care clinics.
