About The Position

Join an expanding Pulmonary/Critical Care practice in North Central West Virginia where you can have a significant impact in the lives of your patients while enjoying the benefits of living in one of the state’s most livable communities. UHC Pulmonology is a robust practice housed in the multidisciplinary UHC Lung Center along with thoracic surgery and sleep medicine. Qualified candidates will need to have completed fellowship training in an accredited pulmonary and critical care medicine program. The position is at a non-profit, 300+ bed modern hospital facility with a clinic adjacent to the hospital. It includes a 20-bed open ICU with hospitalist coverage and a strong respiratory therapy department. UHC is a member of WVU Medicine, West Virginia’s premier provider of advanced specialty care and the state’s only academic medical center. WVU Medicine is West Virginia University’s affiliated health system, providing comprehensive healthcare services to all of West Virginia, Southeast Ohio, Western Maryland, and Southwest Pennsylvania through its twenty-five hospitals, five institutes, and many affiliates.

Requirements

  • completed fellowship training in an accredited pulmonary and critical care medicine program
