About The Position

Ochsner Health in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi is seeking a Physician to join Ochsner Hancock in a day shift role. BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians are welcomed to apply. The role involves an average census of 15 patients including admissions, with no procedures required but does include ICU rounding in an open ICU. There is E-ICU intensivist support available. The position utilizes the EPIC medical record system with remote access capabilities and is supported by dedicated RN and Social Work Clinical Care Coordinators. The role also offers a community-based academic appointment and opportunities for leadership development, research, and teaching medical students and residents. Ochsner Health is a recognized institution with multiple awards and a partnership with the University of Louisiana for medical training.

Requirements

• BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians
• No procedures required
• Must do ICU rounding (Open ICU)
• EPIC medical record system with remote access capabilities
• Dedicated RN and Social Work Clinical Care Coordinators
