Physician - Primary Care - Wentzville
About The Position
St. Luke’s Medical Group is recruiting board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians to provide outpatient primary care in Wentzville and other western and southern St. Louis suburbs. The role offers a physician-led, patient-centered environment with autonomy, collaboration, leadership opportunities, and support for practice growth. The Wentzville position includes a three-year guaranteed salary, competitive base compensation with productivity incentives, and marketing support. The position is 100% outpatient, with no inpatient responsibilities. Physicians work with experienced clinical staff and have access to St. Luke’s specialists, urgent care centers, and hospital services through established referral networks. The practice uses Cerner EMR and AI tools that input directly into the EMR. Evening and weekend call coverage is provided. The organization also describes flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to care through leadership and innovation.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
- DEA license.
- Missouri Board of Registration of the Healing Arts licensure.
- Team-oriented and patient-focused approach, commitment to excellence, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care; the role has no inpatient responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively with experienced clinical staff to support patient care.
- Use established referral networks and access to St. Luke’s specialists, urgent care centers, and hospital services for coordinated care.
