About The Position

The Physician Practice Operations Manager will direct multi-site practice operations for Surgery and Urology across Austin and Kyle. This role involves architecting strategic market growth, commanding fiscal and revenue cycle integrity, leading comprehensive talent and performance operations, and optimizing workforce allocation. The manager will serve as an executive liaison, enforce regulatory and quality compliance, and elevate patient care coordination.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced medical office or clinical setting, with a strong preference for backgrounds in surgical specialties or Urology.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage a split schedule (3 days Austin / 2 days Kyle) while maintaining immaculate organization and punctual territory travel.
  • Superior communication skills to seamlessly adapt to different team dynamics and facility cultures across both regional locations.
  • High proficiency in navigating complex medical scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR), and digital communication tools.
  • A self-motivated professional who can keep operations running smoothly without needing constant on-site oversight at either location.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise complete operational ownership of the assigned Surgery and Urology practice sites across Austin and Kyle, optimizing daily workflows, clinical services, patient flow, and policy implementation.
  • Partner directly with practice physicians and executive leadership to develop and execute aggressive growth strategies, business plans, and market expansion initiatives while supporting overarching financial goals.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, analyze billing and collection functions, oversee vendor contracts, and assist leadership with the development and implementation of physician compensation models.
  • Direct the entire human capital lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll approval, and staff scheduling. Actively drive performance management, conflict resolution, and employee satisfaction initiatives.
  • Engineer strategic staffing models to seamlessly meet the shifting demands of provider work and surgical schedules across both regional campuses.
  • Act as the primary strategic conduit bridging practice physicians, clinical staff, and external administrative and executive leadership spheres.
  • Monitor and guarantee strict adherence to healthcare regulatory compliance, risk management standards, and internal quality metrics to safeguard patient care and institutional integrity.
  • Continually assess and optimize the quality of clinical care services by collaborating directly with patients, staff, and multi-disciplinary providers across both regional sites.
