About The Position

The Physician Practice Coordinator RN works collaboratively with Northside Hospital leadership to administer and coordinate practice operations, supporting clinical quality, financial viability, patient and visitor safety, service excellence, and customer satisfaction. The coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of an assigned physician practice and its employees.

The role coordinates practice services, including patient access, scheduling, pre-authorization, chart management, nursing, procedures, and other functions. It also ensures compliance with departmental operational throughput goals.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• At least 3 years of management experience in business, nursing, or a healthcare-related field.
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple and diverse activities, and make appropriate clinical and managerial decisions.
• Advanced problem-solving and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• RN licensure.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Physician practice or other ambulatory care setting management experience.
• Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience implementing and maintaining an electronic medical record.
