About The Position
Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group is seeking an ACGME fellowship-trained, board-eligible or board-certified Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to join its team at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois. The Pediatric Rehabilitation Program provides inpatient and outpatient care to children from birth through age 18 with physical, cognitive, and learning challenges resulting from illness, injury, or congenital causes. The practice includes outpatient clinic, inpatient service, procedures, and consult services. The physician will have opportunities to work with prosthetics and orthotics, participate in specialty programs, use high-technology neurorehabilitation, and work with residents. The role is a 1.0 FTE day-shift position, 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- ACGME fellowship training in Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation care in outpatient clinic and inpatient settings.
- Perform procedures and provide consult services.
- Participate in rehabilitation care involving prosthetics and orthotics.
- Work with residents.
