About The Position

Join a well-established Level 1 orthopedic trauma program within a large, collaborative multi-specialty group in Duluth, MN. This practice is composed of 16 orthopedic surgeons and 11 NP/PAs, with sub-specialties including trauma, hand, adult reconstructive, shoulder and elbow, foot and ankle, pediatric orthopedics, ortho oncology, medical orthopedics/sports medicine, and podiatry. The role includes dedicated orthopedic trauma room access 7 days a week with surgical blocks for outpatient trauma cases. Dedicated trauma APPs manage consults and floor work, and the medical orthopedics department handles most non-operative fractures. Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center is northern Minnesota’s largest hospital (344 beds) and a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The facility utilizes a dedicated EMR/EPIC system and offers a comprehensive rehabilitation program, serving a population of approximately 500,000.

Responsibilities
