About The Position
WVUHS Medical Group seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to practice in Oakland, Maryland. The successful candidate will practice in orthopaedics. The role is with WVU Health System, a health system comprising 18 hospitals and five institutes, with additional local hospitals supported through affiliate agreements. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week. Benefit-eligible employees classified at 0.5 FTE or higher may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, a tuition program, retirement, paid time off, and a wellness program.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible to obtain a state medical license.
- Completion of an orthopaedic surgery residency program.
- Board certified or board eligible in orthopaedic surgery.
- All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
