About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is actively seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Cornea, Glaucoma, Comprehensive, or Anterior Segment Surgery Specialist to join their growing team in Naperville, IL, Geneva, IL, and Winfield, IL, located in Chicago’s western suburbs. This is an employed full-time position within Northwestern Medicine, a successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group that promotes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care within a physician-driven team. The practice currently includes 2 Vitreo-retinal Surgeons, 2 Cataract Surgeon/Glaucoma Specialists, an Oculoplastics Ophthalmologist, 3 General Ophthalmologists, and 2 Optometrists. Hospital privileges will be at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital. The system utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system.
Requirements
- BC/BE fellowship-trained Cornea, Glaucoma, Comprehensive, or Anterior Segment Surgery Specialist
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care, specializing in Cornea, Glaucoma, Comprehensive, or Anterior Segment Surgery.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-specialty physician group.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system.
- Maintain hospital privileges at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital.
