About The Position

This role directs and supports the day-to-day operational policies, objectives, and initiatives of multiple hospital-based departments across the system. It involves implementing and overseeing operational activities and programs to ensure the attainment of business plans. The director will develop, organize, implement, and evaluate department operations in accordance with Physician Enterprise and hospital policies and procedures, ensuring efficient operations and collaborating with physician leaders to manage overall department and specialty operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in business administration, healthcare administration or a closely related field
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible work experience in a healthcare practice management setting (may be substituted for the educational requirement)
• 5 years progressively responsible work experience in strategic healthcare operations or supervising or managing a physician's office practice
• 11 years of progressively responsible work experience in strategic healthcare operations or supervising or managing a physician's office practice (in lieu of degree)

• Ensures each department maintains efficient operations and collaborates with physician leaders to manage the overall operations of assigned departments and specialties.
