About The Position

Nurse Practitioner- Hospital-Based Large nephrology practice in Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas seeks a full time Hospital- Based Nurse Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing specialty practice. The Nurse Practitioner supports the organization’s mission, values, and vision. The Nurse Practitioner provides high quality patient care within the scope of training and education and provides comprehensive patient care in autonomous collaboration with other health professionals. The NP cooperates with other health care personnel to coordinate patient care and establish mutual goals and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The NP demonstrates and fosters a commitment to patient satisfaction and teamwork.

Requirements

• Master of Science or Doctorate of Advanced Practitioner
• Maryland State RN and CRNP Licensure
• National Advanced Practice Certification as an Adult or Family Advanced Practitioner through ANCC or AANP or NCCPA certification
• Valid CPR (BLS)
• DEA/CDS/NPI
• Prospective employees must pass a criminal background check and have proof of flu vaccine.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1-2 years of Nurse Practitioner hospital experience preferred.
