About The Position
This role involves supervising the orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring of staff within the GI department at St. Vincent Medical Group in Fishers, IN. The position also includes assisting with performance evaluations and participating in multidisciplinary meetings or committees to address issues and implement new services. A key responsibility is ensuring staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification
- 3-5 years of administrative or clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical billing and coding
- Familiarity with hiring and compliance
- Previous supervisor experience
