About The Position

Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is recruiting a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible full-scope OB/GYN Physician to join a growing Sutter East Bay Medical Group. The practice includes in-office hysteroscopy and advanced laparoscopy, including robotic procedures. The physician will have an 8-hour office day with a goal of seeing 20-24 patients per day. Call is approximately one 24-hour shift per week, totaling 4-5 calls per month, covering Eden Medical Center on a rotational basis with six other clinicians in the call pool. This is a busy practice with an active waitlist for patients. The position is located in Castro Valley, California, with services provided at Eden Hospital and the medical office building. The role involves joining a collaborative group of OBGYNs who practice evidence-based medicine in a team-based manner, focusing on full-scope obstetrics and gynecology.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted CA license or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Practice full-scope obstetrics and gynecology.
• Perform in-office hysteroscopy.
• Perform advanced laparoscopy, including robotic procedures.
• Manage an 8-hour office day, seeing approximately 20-24 patients per day.
• Participate in a call schedule of approximately one 24-hour shift per week (4-5 per month).
• Cover Eden Medical Center on a rotational basis.
• Collaborate with a group of OBGYNs practicing evidence-based medicine in a team-based manner.
