About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. WVUHS Medical Group seeks an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician. The successful candidate will practice in the primary location of Wheeling, WV. Wheeling Hospital was recently recognized as one of Castle Connolly’s 2025 Top Hospitals both as a state and national leader in Obstetrics & Gynecology: C-Section Surgery – National Top Hospital and State Gold Standard, Hysterectomy – State Gold Standard.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible to obtain state medical license
- Completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
- Completed specialty fellowship program
- Board certified/eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
