About The Position

The WVUHS Medical Group is seeking an OBGYN Physician to practice in Martinsburg, WV. The Obstetrics and Gynecology providers of WVU Medicine offer a comprehensive range of women's health services, utilizing the latest innovative advances in care. Berkeley Medical Center, a 195-bed acute care hospital, provides extensive services including advanced radiology, a wound care center, NICU, ICU, oncology, neurosurgery, and a Cardiac Cath Lab. The hospital has also expanded its OR services to support growth in robotics, orthopedics, and vascular health. The Eastern Panhandle location offers a rural atmosphere, lower cost of living, and convenient access to Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD. WVU Medicine is West Virginia University’s affiliated health system, the state’s largest private employer, and a national leader in patient safety and quality, comprising a network of 25 hospitals and affiliated clinics.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain state medical license.
• Completed an OBGYN residency program.
• Completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology fellowship program.
• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
• All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Provide a full spectrum of women’s health services, from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
• Offer preventive exams, specialized gynecologic treatments, and obstetric services.
• Utilize the latest innovative advances in obstetric and gynecologic care.
