OBGYN Physician
About The Position
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Billings, MT. This is a full-time, clinical-only outpatient role covering consults and managing low and high-risk pregnancies. The assignment is ongoing, starting ASAP, with a need for at least three weeks of coverage per month. The physician will work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour break. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center with Level III Pediatric/NICU, utilizing the Cerner EMR system. Specialty backup is available from MFM, REI, Gyn/Onc, and Uro/Gyn. The support staff includes 4 APPs, 4 RNs, 8 MAs, and 2 office staff. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- MT license or willing to obtain
- BLS certification
- Ability to perform low & high risk pregnancy management
- FHR interpretation
- OB Ultrasounds
- Decision-making for c-section
- Office/minor gynecology procedures
Responsibilities
- Cover outpatient OB/GYN clinic consults
- Provide full-time coverage (at least 3 weeks/month) with ongoing assignment
- Manage low and high risk pregnancies, including FHR interpretation and ultrasound
- Perform minor gynecological procedures (IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.) and surgical gynecology
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including MFM, REI, Gyn/Onc, and Uro/Gyn
