About The Position
Wellstar Health System is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN to help build and lead the ob/gyn practice supporting the brand-new Wellstar Columbia County Hospital, opening in Fall 2026 in Grovetown, Georgia. Columbia County is one of the fastest-growing communities in the state, offering highly ranked public schools, affordable housing, and access to outdoor recreation! The new Wellstar Columbia County Hospital will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to deliver high-acuity care in a patient-centered environment. Our facility will be equipped with advanced technologies and backed by the vast resources of Wellstar Health System, one of Georgia’s largest and most integrated health systems.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
Responsibilities
- Provide full scope ob/gyn services
- All call shifts (1:10) and deliveries at Wellstar MCG
- Collaborate with a team of physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- GYN procedures performed at Columbia County Hospital
- Outpatient practice located at the new Columbia County Medical Office building
