About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is actively seeking a full-time OB/GYN hospitalist physician to join our growing team in Palos Heights, IL, in the southern suburbs of Chicago. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, managing acute and emergency cases, and delivering babies at Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital. The hospital is a well-established, community-based facility with strong specialty support, ranked No. 13 in the Chicago metro area and Illinois by U.S. News & World Report. The position is within a highly respected, multi-specialty physician group known for its collegial culture, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care, utilizing a fully integrated Epic electronic health record system.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, including triage, consultations, patient management, and support for obstetric deliveries and surgical procedures
- Manage acute and emergency cases, including fetal monitoring, emergency gynecologic surgery, and ED coverage for OB/GYN patients
