About The Position

Tower Health Medical Group seeks a Physician, Neonatology to work in West Reading, PA and provide and manage direct patient care for newborn infants that are born with severe illnesses, injuries, or disorders. The Physician, Neonatology will conduct physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for newborn infants. The Physician, Neonatology also will prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate for the assessed medical conditions. Physician, Neonatology will provide clinical education to medical students and residents engaged in relevant rotations and direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff. The Physician, Neonatology may consult with or refer to other medical specialties in difficult cases.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited school of medicine or foreign equivalent.
• Pennsylvania medical license.
• Completion of accredited three-year pediatrics residency program.
• Completion of neonatal-perinatal fellowship.
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in neonatal-perinatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics.
