Advanced Practice Provider-Neonatology
About The Position
This Neonatal APP will support our Northern Utah Geography, which includes 8 Neonatologists and 12 Neonatal APPs. Primary location will be McKay-Dee Hospital's level III 32 bed NICU, located in Ogden, Utah. Our Neonatal APPs provide onsite coverage 24/7. Group also provides care at Layton Hospital's level II 10 bed NICU & Logan Regional Hospital's Well Newborn Nursery. It's anticipated you may provide care in any of our three locations. Supported by qualified staff including RNs, Respiratory Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Dietitians, CNAs, among others. Our APPs report directly to an AP Director, who is also a practicing Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Full time, this APP will be scheduled an average of 36 hours per week. May be taken in 12 or 24-hour increments.
Requirements
- Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- 1+ year NICU experience
- Utah state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Utah state controlled substance license
- Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Neonatal APP experience highly preferred
Responsibilities
