About The Position

The person in this physician role will be responsible for meeting, assessing, and diagnosing patients in a children's hospital setting and provide them with healthcare services that meet state and national standards for caregiving. This includes prescribing appropriate medication, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments to contribute to patient recovery, prevent future health issues, and promote a healthier life.

Requirements

Board Eligible/Certified by the American Board of Radiology or AOBR required.
Eligible for licensure in Minnesota required.
Completion of a pediatric radiology fellowship.
Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children.
Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.
In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Respect for patient's confidentiality.
Compassionate and approachable.
Responsible and trustworthy.
DHS Background Study Required.
