Join the Surgical House Moonlighter Team at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. This casual position involves performing surgical assessment, evaluation, history and physical exams, and consultations on patients with surgical conditions, complications, or changes in postoperative status. Responsibilities also include assisting in the operating room, ordering lab work, and consulting with attending physicians for inpatients with major illnesses or injuries. Core privileges extend to emergent procedures such as the insertion of chest tubes, central lines, pulmonary artery catheters, and cricothyrotomy. The role is compensated at $170 per hour and includes Professional Liability/Medical Malpractice Insurance, though it is not eligible for other benefits.
