The practice at Beacon Plainwell is an 11-bed Emergency Department attached to an LTACH, primarily seeing urgent care level patients with an annual volume of 10,500. It is equipped with respiratory tech, bedside ultrasound, 24/7 x-ray and CT, and general ultrasound during business hours. The ER is efficient with committed nursing and ancillary staff, and easy transfers to the main hospital for admissions.
Requirements
- Must be a 3rd year of a 3-year program or a 4th year of a 4-year program to be eligible.
- Current MI state license is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients.
- Manage urgent care level patients in an 11-bed Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff for efficient patient care.
- Facilitate transfers to the main hospital for admissions when necessary.
