This role is for a Physician Moonlighter in Correctional Health, focusing on patient care within correctional facilities.
Requirements
- Must be in the 3rd year of a 3-year program or a 4th year of a 4-year program to be eligible.
- DEA Licensure required.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
- CCHP-P Certified preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to adult patients (18+) within correctional facilities.
- Work within a multi-site system including Hi-Desert Detention Center, Central Detention Center, and West Valley Detention Center.
- Utilize 5 exam rooms and 16 units for patient care.
- Work in an environment with an on-site Dialysis Suite and Suicide Watch.
- Provide services during facility hours of Mon-Fri 8:30am-7pm, with varying weekend hours.
- Ensure X-ray services are available seven days a week.
- Collaborate with a separate, non-Vituity mental health facility with psychiatrists for treatment.
