About The Position

Professional Care Medical Practices PC is a private, physician-founded, nationally accredited correctional health care practice providing comprehensive medical and mental health services in New York. The organization describes correctional health care as a hybrid of primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, and addiction medicine, serving an underserved and diverse patient population.

The Physician / Medical Director will provide on-site medical care at Steuben County Jail in Bath, New York. This is a flexible part-time position requiring a minimum of four hours of on-site care per week. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, with a stated rate range of $130–$170 per hour.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
• Licensed to practice medicine in New York State.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Maintain a current DEA number and be eligible to prescribe medications in New York State.
• Maintain active BLS (CPR) certification.
• Maintain a current driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Specialty training preferred in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Correctional Medicine, and/or Urgent Care.
