Physician-Interventional Radiology
About The Position
Ascension is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join their practice in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is 100% interventional radiology, with no diagnostic responsibilities. The physician will join a group of 4 interventionalists and 6 APPs, covering all interventional radiology services at St. Vincent 86th, Indianapolis. The practice offers a diverse clinical experience, including comprehensive PE and DVT service lines, a robust CLI service line, and strong collaborations with various departments such as podiatry, urology, oncology, gastroenterology, peripheral thoracic, and cardiothoracic. The hired physician will spend at least three days a week in the vascular lab, 1-2 days a week in a dedicated IR CT&US dual suite, supervising APPs and performing non-vascular cases, and at least half a day per week in clinic. Call schedule will be q5 for primary and q20 for backup for vascular surgery partner for non-vascular cases.
Requirements
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
