About The Position
WVUHS Medical Group seeks an Interventional Radiology Physician for a Full-time position. The successful candidate will practice at Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA. The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. The System has undergone significant expansion in specialty and sub-specialty care in areas such as cancer, heart and vascular, and neuroscience, among many others. The Health System operates West Virginia’s first and only multi-organ transplant center, and opened a new, 150-bed Children’s Hospital in September 2022. Today, the WVU Health System has more than 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees. Anchored by a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown, the Health System includes more than 20 member hospitals that collectively serve a multi-state region that includes West Virginia, Western Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for state medical license
- Completed Radiology residency program
- Completed Interventional Radiology fellowship program
- Board certified / eligible in Radiology
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the area of Interventional Radiology while providing excellent patient care.
