About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is actively seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join their growing team at Central DuPage and Delnor Hospitals, located in Chicago’s western suburbs. The Interventional Radiology practice encompasses a wide range of extracranial interventional services, including vascular and non-vascular procedures, advanced embolization, interventional oncology, complex hepatobiliary and venous interventions, endovascular aneurysm repair, central venous access, spine intervention, gastrointestinal intervention, and genitourinary intervention. This is an employed full-time position with Northwestern Medicine, offering a competitive base salary and a collegial work environment within a physician-driven team. The role presents a unique opportunity to lead the development and expansion of advanced outpatient embolization therapies, with a focus on prostate, geniculate, and hemorrhoidal artery embolization. The position includes protected clinic time and utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system.

Requirements

  • Fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC)
  • Ability to obtain hospital privileges at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital
  • Willingness to work in Winfield and Geneva, IL
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system

Responsibilities

  • Perform the full spectrum of vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures.
  • Conduct advanced embolization procedures.
