About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is actively seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join their growing team at Central DuPage and Delnor Hospitals, located in Chicago’s western suburbs. The Interventional Radiology practice encompasses a wide range of extracranial interventional services, including vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology, advanced embolization procedures, interventional oncology, complex hepatobiliary and venous interventions, endovascular aneurysm repair, oncologic interventions, central venous access, spine intervention, gastrointestinal intervention, hepatobiliary intervention, and genitourinary intervention. This is an employed full-time position with Northwestern Medicine, offering a competitive base salary and a collegial work environment within a physician-driven team. The role presents a unique opportunity to lead the development and expansion of advanced outpatient embolization therapies, with a focus on prostate, geniculate, and hemorrhoidal artery embolization. The position includes protected clinic time and utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system.

Responsibilities

Perform the full spectrum of vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures.
Conduct advanced embolization procedures.
Engage in interventional oncology.
Perform complex hepatobiliary and venous interventions.
Execute endovascular aneurysm repair.
Manage oncologic interventions.
Provide central venous access.
Perform spine interventions.
Conduct gastrointestinal interventions.
Perform genitourinary interventions.
Lead the development and expansion of advanced outpatient embolization therapies, with a focus on prostate/geniculate/hemorrhoidal artery embolization.
