About The Position

Stamford Health is seeking an Internal Medicine primary care physician to join an established practice of 4 providers. One of the physicians is retiring by the end of the year and leaving behind a full panel of patients. This is a 100% outpatient position with a Monday-Friday schedule, including 36 patient contact hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week. The physician will see an average of 18-20 patients per day and will be assigned a medical assistant and front office support. The call schedule is 1:5, phone call only, averaging 0-5 calls per night when on call. The practice is located in charming downtown Darien, within walking distance of the beach. The ideal candidate possesses excellent people skills, enjoys learning, and has a desire to provide excellent patient care to all patients.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to patients as an Internal Medicine physician.
• See 18-20 patients per day.
• Participate in a 1:5 call schedule (phone call only).
