About The Position

Stamford Health is seeking an Internal Medicine primary care physician to join an established practice of 4 providers. One of the physicians is retiring by the end of the year and leaving behind a full panel of patients. This is a 100% outpatient position with a Monday-Friday schedule, consisting of 36 patient contact hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week. The physician will see approximately 18-20 patients per day and will be assigned a medical assistant and front office support. Call is 1:5, phone call only, averaging 0-5 calls per night when on call. The practice is located in charming downtown Darien, within walking distance of the beach. Stamford Health is a Planetree Health System, providing excellence across a continuum of care. Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Excellent people skills.
• Desire to provide excellent patient care.
• Ability to work in a supportive, collegial, and friendly environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an outpatient primary care setting.
• Experience with wRVU incentive models.
• Familiarity with Planetree Health System principles.

Responsibilities
