About The Position

HSHS Medical Group, an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), is recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) Infectious Disease physician to join its Multispecialty Care team in O’Fallon, Illinois. This position offers H-1B visa sponsorship and is a 50/50 inpatient–outpatient role in a newly developed program. The position utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system and is supported by a dedicated clinical and administrative support staff. Requirements

  • Unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA prior to start date
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Disease
  • M.D., D.O., or M.B.B.S.
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.
