About The Position

HSHS Medical Group, an affiliate of Hospital Sister Health System (HSHS), is recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Infectious Disease Physician to join our Multispecialty Care team in Springfield, Illinois. This is a developing program transitioning toward a 50/50 inpatient-outpatient model. HSHS Medical Group can sponsor H1B visas at this location.

Requirements

Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA (prior to start)
BE/BC Infectious Disease
M.D., D.O., or MBBS
Clinical doctorate is required.
Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
Must be board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

After hours clinic call only, no hospital call.
Provider Education
Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
