About The Position

This is a part-time (20 hours a week) position for a Hyperbaric and Wound Physician in Ogden, UT. The role involves providing medical expertise to support patients in living the healthiest lives possible. The physician will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Responsibilities include providing outpatient wound care, serving as the supervising physician for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and collaborating with the inpatient wound care team as needed. The work schedule is two 10-hour shifts per week, preferably Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and includes one week of hyperbaric call coverage each month.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine preferred
Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
Completion of a UHMS-approved 40-hour Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine, or eligibility and willingness to complete the course within the designated onboarding period
Commitment to enroll in the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) Program for Advanced Training in Hyperbaric Medicine (PATH) within one year of hire and actively progress toward program completion
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
